Keep your dog safe with this 5/8" wide BioThane® safety strap. Safety straps provide an extra level of protection for reactive or runaway dogs, particularly when using a harness that could potentially slip off. One end of the safety strap can be connected to a collar and the other to harness. The total length, including both snaps, is about 9.5 inches. If you'd like a different length, feel free to message me. The safety strap is made with stainless steel swivel snaps and your choice of 49 colors of BioThane®. The rivets are made of nickel over brass (which match the stainless steel in color) because brass is a better material for double-cap tubular rivets.

I purchased the leash with a traffic handle at 12” for my mother’s tall Doberman mix. It is extremely durable, easy to clean and most of all easy to handle her with the traffic handle when necessary. I sprayed it with bitter apple as soon as we got it because she is a chewer of leashes if not paying attention to her. This leash looks stunning and is fully functional with her breed. I bought this to extend a the strap of a shoulder bag and I'm very pleased with it. The buckle is heavy and could be too heavy for a dog, though.
